Album featured at the showRoberto Carlos1991Se Você Quer, Todas as Manhãs and Luz Divina showcase material from the 1991 album.“To see the Teatro Fênix gathering that connects the social outreach of Christmas 1991 with the memory of Jovem Guarda.”
Context
In 1991, Roberto Carlos's Christmas is split between social outreach and music. In the afternoon, children and older adults take center stage on the program, co-hosted with Claudia Raia and Glória Maria. At night, Teatro Fênix in Rio de Janeiro hosts the gala show for invited guests.
Onstage, Roberto opens his performance with Cenário and strings songs together in medleys. Fafá de Belém sings Amor da Minha Vida and joins the host for Se Você Quer. Fagner and Chitãozinho & Xororó also get their own turns. With Erasmo Carlos, the evening reconnects with Jovem Guarda.
Todas as Manhãs and Luz Divina connect the gathering to the 1991 album. The special remains in the television archives and returns to the Viva channel's schedule in 2016, marking the singer's 75th birthday. The Fênix gathering takes on a new distance: the present of that Christmas becomes television memory.
- Fafá de Belém reunites with Roberto for the Se Você Quer duet.
