Chitãozinho e Xororó

Brothers José and Durval de Lima began singing together as children in Astorga, Paraná, and recorded their first album, Galopeira, in 1970. The duo rose to prominence with “60 Dias Apaixonado” and the album Amante Amada; in 1982, “Fio de Cabelo”, from the album Somos Apaixonados, expanded sertanejo’s presence on the radio. Over the decades, they took on new arrangements and collaborations while still recording repertoire rooted in música caipira.
