Context
On Christmas Day in 1990, nature conservation takes over two time slots on Globo. In the afternoon, Roberto Carlos and Claudia Raia host an environmental initiative at Teatro Fênix. At night, the focus shifts to Maracanãzinho, where the singer had recorded the musical portion of the special.
Onstage, Roberto welcomes Wanderléa, who sings Foi Assim and shares Ternura with the host. José Augusto performs Aguenta Coração and joins him for Fera Ferida. Xuxa arrives with the Paquitas, brings Lua de Cristal and Ilariê to the program and sings Noite Feliz with Roberto.
The night is part of a campaign that brings artists to different cities and distributes 400 thousand tree seedlings. Decades later, the special returns to television on the Viva channel as part of its programming marking the singer's 75th birthday. The recording preserves the meeting of an arena show, a Christmas celebration and an environmental initiative.
- Wanderléa shares Ternura with Roberto; José Augusto joins him for Fera Ferida.
