Context
The Grand Canyon takes the place of the usual set for a Kenny Loggins show. In the Leap of Faith era, the singer takes his songs to an outdoor production surrounded by the canyon landscape. The night brings the recent repertoire close to a career already marked by pop hits.
Loggins opens the stage sequence with Cody's Song and moves to Whenever I Call You Friend. House at Pooh Corner, Danny's Song and Your Mama Don't Dance are strung together in a medley. Another block joins Heart to Heart with This Is It, before Conviction of the Heart steers the program toward the featured album.
Celebrate Me Home closes the performance, while I Would Do Anything plays over the credits. Directed by Jeb Brien, the film reaches the home video market in 1992 and gets a DVD release in 2004. The edit preserves this meeting of open landscape, earlier hits and the songs of Leap of Faith.
- Two medleys connect the Loggins & Messina songs to the hits of his solo career.
