Xuxa

Born in Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul, Xuxa started as a model and made her music debut in 1986 with the LP Xou da Xuxa, released on the wave of her show on TV Globo.

The record kicked off a run of children’s albums tied to television and Spanish-language releases that found an audience across Latin America. In the 2000s, the Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos series renewed that phase and earned the third volume a Latin Grammy.
