Context
On April 15, 2007, River Plate's stadium hosts Evanescence's first show in Argentina. The band arrives with The Open Door and shares Quilmes Rock's last day with Velvet Revolver and Aerosmith. Among the spectators, black clothes and makeup mark the fans who come for Amy Lee.
Sweet Sacrifice opens the show, followed by Weight of the World. The band spreads eight songs from the second album among seven from Fallen, without dropping Going Under, Bring Me to Life and My Immortal. Lee leads the show on vocals and piano, backed by Terry Balsamo's and John LeCompt's guitars, Tim McCord's bass and Rocky Gray's drums.
Your Star closes the encore before an imminent change: in May, LeCompt and Gray leave the group and are replaced by Troy McLawhorn and Will Hunt. The Argentine stop is captured in the festival's recording for television, radio and the internet. The document preserves the band's debut in the country with a lineup that soon comes apart.
- Your Star closes the encore after My Immortal.
