“To see Joey Jordison at Pinkpop with Korn, just nine days after his debut with the band.”
Context
Nine days separate Joey Jordison's debut with Korn from this stop in Landgraaf. On May 28, 2007, the Slipknot drummer fills the seat left by David Silveria's departure. Pinkpop meets a band in transition, with the eighth album still to come.
Jonathan Davis leads a sequence that starts with Here to Stay and ends with Blind. Between those ends, Korn crosses generations of its own repertoire: Divine meets Got the Life, while Coming Undone and Twisted Transistor keep See You on the Other Side in focus. Evolution makes room for new material.
After the European leg, the schedule moves on to the Family Values Tour, shared with Evanescence. The untitled album arrives in July, and Ray Luzier later takes over the drums. The Pinkpop footage preserves Jordison's temporary stint, officially restored by the festival archive in June 2025.
- Evolution previews the eighth album, still unreleased that night.
