Context
On May 28, 2007, Pinkpop reaches its final day, sold out. In Landgraaf, Dave Matthews Band takes the 3FM stage between Stone Sour and Korn. Stand Up is still the latest studio album, while the sessions for a follow-up are going through a creative pause.
The band opens with Daniel Lanois's Still Water and moves on to Don't Drink the Water. So Much to Say, Anyone Seen the Bridge and Too Much form the next block. Louisiana Bayou and Hunger for the Great Light bring Stand Up into a selection that ends with What Would You Say and Ants Marching.
After Landgraaf, the route leads to Wembley Arena. The recording remains in the festival archive and preserves a configuration that changes the following year: Butch Taylor leaves the keyboards in May 2008, and LeRoi Moore dies in August. Here, both still share the stage with the five founders.
