Context
On May 27, 2007, Muse returns to Megaland for its fourth Pinkpop. After the 2000, 2002 and 2004 visits, the band closes Sunday. The Black Holes and Revelations tour is crossing European festivals, a few weeks before the two shows at the new Wembley.
Knights of Cydonia opens the way, and six songs from the album carry the performance. Bellamy alternates guitar and piano; Wolstenholme and Howard form the core, with Morgan Nicholls in instrumental support. Man of Mystery makes room for The Shadows. In the encore, Unintended comes before Plug In Baby, accompanied by a balloon drop.
Stockholm Syndrome closes the night after the Kaoss Pad improvisation. Part of the show reaches Dutch television and 3FM radio, while the full recording gets an official release through the festival archive in 2025. The footage preserves a stop before Wembley: the same tour cycle, still focused on the festival format.
- Man of Mystery brings The Shadows to the stage; Plug In Baby gets balloons in the encore.
