Context
In October 2007, Bowling for Soup cross the Atlantic again with the Get Happy Tour. The British run also brings together Bloodhound Gang, Zebrahead and Army of Freshmen. On the 24th, the Manchester Apollo hosts the Texas quartet for the show that takes center place on their first live DVD.
Jaret Reddick takes vocals and guitar alongside Chris Burney, Erik Chandler and Gary Wiseman. My Hometown opens the musical sequence, which passes through Almost and Ohio (Come Back to Texas). High School Never Ends, I'm Gay and When We Die put the then-recent The Great Burrito Extortion Case among the earlier hits.
The road to the close passes through Girl All the Bad Guys Want and 1985, before the version of Ring of Fire. In July 2008, the night reaches DVD as Live and Very Attractive. The British edition adds a CD to the package: Manchester stops being just a tour stop and becomes the record of an era.
