Context
On November 12, 2007, Evanescence trades the arena circuit for a private show in Los Angeles. The Open Door tour is nearing its end. On the Nissan Live Sets stage, Amy Lee leads the lineup that carries the last months of this leg.
Terry Balsamo and Troy McLawhorn handle the guitars, with Tim McCord on bass and Will Hunt on drums. The Only One opens this edit, followed by Call Me When You're Sober. Among the songs from the second album, Imaginary, Missing and Understanding make room for other layers of the band's repertoire.
The session also brings musicians and fans together for a question-and-answer round. In December, the performance is already circulating on Yahoo Music, while the tour wraps up on the 9th. The recording keeps this smaller-scale meeting at the end of a cycle that runs more than a year.
- Understanding closes the selection with a song written before Fallen.
