Context
Two weeks after the sound problems at Glastonbury, the Killers headline a British festival again. It is July 7, 2007, in Balado, near Kinross. T in the Park debuts its three-day format, and Saturday ends with the Las Vegas band on the Sam's Town road.
Brandon Flowers wears a black vest and white shirt and says little between songs. The set brings Read My Mind and Bones close to the hits from Hot Fuss. A snippet of Sam's Town sets up Bling, while Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Shadowplay make room for Frankie Valli and Joy Division.
After All These Things That I've Done, Exitlude signals a farewell that doesn't yet end the night: When You Were Young returns. The next day, the tour moves on to Oxegen, in Ireland. The Scottish stop remains on a TV recording, with an ending that refuses to say goodbye on the first try.
- When You Were Young returns after Exitlude to close the performance.
