Context
Christmas 1992 arrives with an absence behind the scenes. Augusto César Vannucci, tied to Roberto Carlos's specials since 1974, died on November 30. The edition gets the subtitle Amigos and turns the annual meeting into a tribute. At Teatro Fênix, Roberto makes room for partners and guests from different generations.
In a yellow blazer and white trousers, Roberto sings Amigo and welcomes Chitãozinho e Xororó. Erasmo Carlos comes in during Se Você Pensa; Caetano Veloso shares Alegria, Alegria with the host. The program alternates stage and music videos, while Mulher Pequena brings the new album to television, with Patrícia França.
In the Christmas segment, Luz Divina meets a staging of the life and death of Jesus. Eu Quero Apenas brings together Globo artists, and Emoções accompanies the farewell dedicated to Vannucci. Aired on December 25, the special remains a TV record of friendship shaped by the loss of someone who helped build that tradition.
- Caetano Veloso shares Alegria, Alegria with Roberto Carlos.
