Kátia

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Kátia began writing songs as a child and reached the CBS label on Roberto Carlos's recommendation. She released her first single in 1978 and, the following year, her debut LP, which featured “Lembranças”, a hit written by Roberto and Erasmo Carlos.

“Cedo pra Mim” marked the next record, from 1980; Calor followed, along with recordings also aimed at the Latin market. She ended her artistic career and went on to work with technology for blind people.
