Context
Fifty years after Jovem Guarda, Roberto Carlos gathers old partners and musicians from other generations at the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. It is November 7, 2015. The year-end special takes on an unprecedented structure: three bands take turns covering different moments of his career.
In a blue suit, Roberto opens with Eu Sou Terrível. The Star Band brings together Jota Quest, Paulo Ricardo and Carlinhos Brown; Wanderléa and Erasmo Carlos revive their 1960s partnership. Then the musicians from the Abbey Road sessions take over the backing, before the RC9 comes in, conducted by Eduardo Lages.
The final stage welcomes Thiaguinho, Ludmilla and Paulinho da Costa, linking Roberto's repertoire to guests from the present. Jesus Cristo closes the night. On December 23, the recording reaches Globo's schedule under the name Detalhes. Television turns the meeting into a career portrait organized by the changing of musicians, not just by the parade of hits.
- Wanderléa and Erasmo Carlos revive their Jovem Guarda partnerships.
