Context
Thirty years after his first Globo special, Roberto Carlos gathers friends in Rio de Janeiro for a celebration spanning different phases of his music. Jovem Guarda approaches its fortieth anniversary, while Pra Sempre keeps the memory of Maria Rita at the heart of his recent songs.
Erasmo Carlos performs Santa Música and joins Roberto and Wanderléa on Sentado à Beira do Caminho. She takes the lead on Foi Assim; Ivete Sangalo sings Faz Tempo and shares Além do Horizonte with the host. An inflatable red Cadillac takes up the stage, and Acróstico turns the big screens into a tribute to Maria Rita.
Natal Branco and Jesus Cristo close the gathering with a choir. On television, the performance is part of the program aired on December 18, 2004, interspersed with scenes featuring Pedro and Bino from Carga Pesada. The anniversary thus unfolds on two scales: the fictional road and the stage where collaborators meet again.
- Erasmo Carlos and Wanderléa join Roberto on Sentado à Beira do Caminho.
- Ivete Sangalo takes the lead on Faz Tempo and shares Além do Horizonte with Roberto.
