Context
On June 9, 2003, Saybia arrives in Landgraaf with a bridge already built between Denmark and the Netherlands. At the end of the previous year, the five-piece had opened for Kane at Ahoy. Now it takes a spot on the bill for Pinkpop's final day.
Søren Huss takes vocals and guitar alongside Sebastian Sandstrøm, Jeppe Knudsen, Jess Jensen and Palle Sørensen. Fool's Corner opens the show, which moves through The Miracle in July, 7 Demons and Joy. The debut record supplies most of the songs; The Day After Tomorrow closes the run.
The European expansion also takes its toll: the strain of this period pushes the band toward a breakup. Continuity takes shape on These Are the Days, from 2004, and the group returns to Pinkpop in 2005. The 2003 recording preserves the earlier stage, when the first album still drives the conquest of other stages.
