Context
On May 31, 2004, Moloko returns to Pinkpop for the third and last time. The previous visit had come just a year earlier. Now, on Megaland's Noordpodium, in Landgraaf, the band is still taking Statues around Europe, already in the final stretch of its career.
Róisín Murphy opens with Familiar Feeling and moves on to Come On, two tracks from the most recent album. Fun for Me brings back the group's beginnings; The Time Is Now and Pure Pleasure Seeker bring in Things to Make and Do. Forever More comes before Sing It Back, and the encore links a shortened Caught in a Whisper with Indigo.
After the tour, Moloko winds down, and Murphy makes her solo debut on record with Ruby Blue, in 2005. The phase also gets its own DVD document: 11,000 Clicks, filmed at the Brixton Academy, not in Landgraaf. The Pinkpop footage remains another window into this last stage cycle.
- The encore pairs a shortened version of Caught in a Whisper with Indigo.
