Context
In March 2004, Pink brings three albums and different personas to the Manchester arena. Try This had deepened her move toward rock, with Tim Armstrong among the collaborators. On the singer's second tour, the show organizes that path into four acts, including an acoustic break dedicated to Janis Joplin.
On stage, wigs and costumes mark the shift between phases. There You Go and Most Girls open the way for Family Portrait and Just Like a Pill. The Try This block gathers God Is a DJ, Oh My God and Trouble. In the encore, Welcome to the Jungle comes before the aerial finale of Get the Party Started.
The March 26 night gets its own release in 2006, when it reaches DVD as Live in Europe, the singer's first live recording in that format. The release includes the documentary On the Road with Pink. The Manchester stage comes to hold the transition between her R&B beginnings and her embrace of rock.
- Trouble appears a cappella, cut down to the first verse and the chorus.
