Context
Reading welcomes Panic! At The Disco on August 28, 2015. Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! is still the most recent album, while Hallelujah already previews the next cycle. Brendon Urie appears with Dallon Weekes, Kenneth Harris and Dan Pawlovich. The show sits between the 2013 repertoire and the album that would come out in January 2016.
Vegas Lights opens the show. Girls/Girls/Boys, Nicotine, Miss Jackson and This Is Gospel reinforce the fourth album's presence. Time to Dance and I Write Sins Not Tragedies keep the 2005 debut in the mix. The cover of Bohemian Rhapsody brings Queen into the final stretch, before the last two songs.
Hallelujah is the hint of what comes next, without turning the concert into a Death of a Bachelor show. The recording keeps this in-between moment. Instead of projecting an unreleased album onto 2015, the set brings the recent era close to the songs that already carried the shows.
