Context
December 2015 closes two calendars in Méier: the Imperator Novo Rock annual program and the Pedras e Sonhos tour. On the 17th, El Efecto and Ventre share the night at the Centro Cultural João Nogueira. For the quintet, the meeting marks the end of a cycle before a lineup change.
On stage, Tomás Rosati alternates vocals, percussion, clarinet and keyboard; Bruno Danton combines singing, guitar and trumpet. Pablo Barroso completes the guitars, with Eduardo Baker on bass and Gustavo Loureiro on drums. The set starts with Dormez-Vous and meets Ventre on Ciranda and De Perto, a song by Gabriel Ventura.
The recording arrives in January 2018, when El Efecto is already preparing another lineup and new songs. Ao Vivo no Méier gets an audio and film release, with recording, mixing and mastering by Bruno Schulz. De Perto remains exclusive to the audiovisual version: the meeting between the bands has the last word.
- Ventre joins in on Ciranda and closes the meeting with De Perto.
