Jota Quest

Jota Quest emerged in Belo Horizonte in 1993, initially as J. Quest, and adopted its current name after a dispute related to the cartoon Johnny Quest. The debut album, released in 1996, introduced its mix of pop rock and black music references. Oxigênio, from 2000, featured “Dias Melhores” and widened the band’s reach. The group has kept the same lineup and is still active, with studio albums and live recordings.
