“To catch the Silverchair of the Across The Night Tour at a German festival, with Diorama at the center of the stage.”
Context
In June 2003, the Across The Night Tour takes Silverchair back to the German festivals. On the Nürburgring's Alternastage, Diorama is the main axis of the set. The album widens the room for songs that no longer fit only the image of the trio that emerged with Frogstomp.
Emotion Sickness opens the show, followed by Without You and Israel’s Son. Tuna in the Brine, Luv Your Life, Across the Night and The Greatest View form a block tied to Diorama. Ana’s Song, The Door and Anthem for the Year 2000 revisit earlier stages of the band.
The Lever closes the musical set. The edit also includes an interview recorded before the show, placed after the performance. The recording documents eleven songs from the 2003 tour and keeps Daniel Johns' remarks between them, including the comment aimed at Iron Maiden fans.
