Context
On July 20, 2012, Salacgrīva welcomes a Keane that no longer fits its old image as a trio. Jesse Quin is now an official member, and Strangeland had reached stores in May. Positivus catches the quartet in the first months of the tour for that fourth album.
You Are Young opens the set, followed by Bend and Break and Day Will Come. Tom Chaplin takes the vocals, Tim Rice-Oxley handles piano and synthesizers, while Richard Hughes and Jesse Quin hold down drums and bass. The new songs share space with Everybody's Changing and Somewhere Only We Know.
Sea Fog starts the encore; Sovereign Light Café sets up the passage to Crystal Ball, which closes the night. The road still stretches on until August 2013. The recording preserves this meeting between a freshly released record and songs that have already spent years on stage, without reducing the new phase to an interlude between hits.
