Context
On November 8, 2025, Mérida hosts the first local edition of Corona Capital Sessions. The series takes the festival beyond Mexico City during Corona's centennial celebrations. After Qendresa and Phoenix, Keane takes the closing slot at Estadio Carlos Iturralde Rivero, still under the banner of twenty years of Hopes and Fears.
Can't Stop Now opens the performance, but the celebration isn't limited to the first album. Spiralling, Disconnected and The Way I Feel cut across other phases of the band. In the encore, My Shadow comes before a detour: Snowed Under is played in part, at the crowd's request. Under Pressure brings Queen and David Bowie into this meeting between debut songs and later work.
Sovereign Light Café leads into the farewell, and Bedshaped closes the night. The recording is part of a program that also takes the Sessions to ViX streaming, ahead of the main festival in the Mexican capital. The celebration that began in 2024 reaches the following year without getting stuck on a full playback of the record: in Mérida, the anniversary makes room for a broader retrospective.
- Snowed Under is played in part during the encore, at the crowd's request.
