Context
In July 2012, the Ciudad del Rock becomes an open-air disco. The electronic day of Rock in Rio Madrid draws about 61,000 people to Arganda del Rey, with Pitbull and David Guetta among the headliners. Pitbull arrives with Planet Pit driving his international run.
On stage, he strings together familiar verses and hooks like one big remix. Hey Baby, International Love and Rain Over Me share space with passages from other artists, from Lenny Kravitz to Michel Teló. The route links the rap of Culo to dance-floor pop, until it flows into Give Me Everything.
After the Spanish night, the schedule moves on to other European shows and the American leg of the Planet Pit World Tour. The next day, Madrid also hosts the shoot of the Get It Started video. The show gets a 49-minute digital release: a snapshot of Pitbull's run through the international festival circuit.
- Ai se eu te pego puts Michel Teló in the path between Pitbull's dance-floor hits.
