Context
Rain accompanies the second day of the North Festival, now set in Parque de Serralves. On May 25, 2024, Keane closes the main program after Tom Odell. The occasion brings together two changes of scale: a new site for the festival and twenty years' distance from the record that introduced the band to a wide audience.
Tom Chaplin calls on the crowd to join in, while Tim Rice-Oxley leads from the piano, with Jesse Quin on bass and Richard Hughes on drums. Can't Stop Now opens a run that spreads nine songs from Hopes and Fears across the show. The celebration doesn't stay locked on the debut: Spiralling, Crystal Ball and The Way I Feel also take their turn.
After Porto, the schedule moves on to Norway in June, keeping the celebration on the road. The anniversary also brings remastered reissues, rarities and live recordings from Mexico City. Serralves holds a different place in that story: a festival night where the 2004 repertoire shares space with everything the band built afterward.
- Bedshaped closes the show after We Might as Well Be Strangers and Sovereign Light Café.

Trivia
Nine of the nineteen songs come from Hopes and Fears, but the show doesn't follow the album's order.
The Way I Feel is the only song from Cause and Effect in the set.
The performance takes place at the first edition of the North Festival held in Parque de Serralves.
