Eluveitie — Bloodstock Open Air 2019

Scorpions finish on the main stage, but Sunday still has one last gathering in the Sophie Lancaster tent. On August 11, 2019, Eluveitie takes on the closing slot at Bloodstock. It is the Swiss band's second appearance at the festival, now with Ategnatos, released four months earlier, at the center of the performance.

Chrigel Glanzmann leads the band alongside Fabienne Erni, between growls and clean singing. Guitars, violin, hurdy-gurdy and wind instruments share the stage. Ategnatos opens the way for King and The Call of the Mountains. In the packed tent, the crowd still finds room to dance after four days of the festival.

Inis Mona closes the set and brings the weekend to an end. Touring for Ategnatos continues: in November, the band begins a European leg with Lacuna Coil and Infected Rain. The Bloodstock footage preserves this stretch between the album's release and the year-end tour, with the new songs already reaching a live audience.
