Context
On August 10, 2019, the wind disrupts the Bloodstock schedule. Anthrax has to shorten its set at Catton Park, while Cradle of Filth loses its entire show. On this Saturday of schedule changes, the quintet takes the Ronnie James Dio Stage, still in the For All Kings touring cycle.
Joey Belladonna takes the microphone with Scott Ian and Jonathan Donais on guitars, Frank Bello on bass and Charlie Benante on drums. Caught in a Mosh opens the set with a Pantera intro. The set moves through Madhouse and Now It's Dark, passes through the covers and ends with Indians.
The recording remains a document of a set cut short by conditions at the festival. In April 2021, the full performance is released on video. Although the tour bears the name For All Kings, none of that album's tracks makes the eight-song set: the available time goes to the earlier catalog.
- Caught in a Mosh opens with a Cowboys from Hell intro.
