Context
A giant duck shares the stage with Alestorm on Saturday afternoon, August 11, 2018. At Catton Park, the band arrives at Bloodstock with No Grave But the Sea, its fifth album, released the previous year. Máté Bodor is already on guitar in this lineup.
Keelhauled opens the set before a crowd covered in inflatable toys. Christopher Bowes leads the party as the audience sits down to row together. Hangover brings Captain Yaarface to the stage. The fun meets a concrete limit during Captain Morgan's Revenge: the intro stops repeatedly because of an injured person in the crowd.
Drink and Fucked With an Anchor close out the band's appearance on the Ronnie James Dio Stage. In February 2019, the full performance begins circulating online as a recording from the festival. The footage preserves both the collective celebration and its interruptions: pirate humor fills the stage, but the safety of those in front of it also sets the pace.
- Captain Yaarface joins the band for Hangover, a Taio Cruz cover.
- The intro to Captain Morgan's Revenge is interrupted so an injured person can receive assistance.
