Context
On August 9, 2019, a ruined church forms the backdrop on the Ronnie James Dio Stage in Walton-on-Trent. Powerwolf takes Friday's penultimate slot at Bloodstock after taking The Sacrament of Sin to number one on the German charts. Sabaton closes the day's lineup.
Attila Dorn leads ten songs, while Matthew and Charles Greywolf handle guitars, Falk Maria Schlegel keyboards, and Roel van Helden drums. Pyrotechnics heighten the religious staging. Fire and Forgive opens the set; Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend and Blessed & Possessed carry the mass before a large crowd.
We Drink Your Blood closes the set before the stage passes to Sabaton. The schedule continues with the Into the Grave and Alcatraz festivals over the next two days. The full concert footage remains a record of this British stop: nearly an hour bringing five albums together in the same theatrical celebration.
- We Drink Your Blood closes a ten-song performance on the Ronnie James Dio Stage.
