Queensrÿche

Queensrÿche formed in Bellevue, near Seattle, in 1981 and released its first EP in 1982. The band gained prominence with Operation: Mindcrime, a 1988 concept album, and broadened its reach with 1990's Empire, which featured the hit Silent Lucidity. After vocalist Geoff Tate's departure in 2012 and a legal dispute over the name, the lineup led by Michael Wilton continued recording and touring.
