Eluveitie

Eluveitie formed in Winterthur, Switzerland, in 2002, initially as Chrigel Glanzmann's studio project. Their debut came with the EP Vên in 2003, and the lineup solidified to record Spirit. Slania, released in 2008, broadened the group's reach; it was followed by the acoustic album Evocation I: The Arcane Dominion, Helvetios and Origins, which explores Celtic mythology. The band remains active, combining melodic death metal with traditional instruments.
