Context
On August 11, 2019, Catton Park welcomes Dee Snider with a different band from the one that made him known. Bloodstock finds the singer on the road with For the Love of Metal, his 2018 release produced by Jamey Jasta. His solo material fills half the show, without leaving Twisted Sister's past behind.
Lies Are a Business and Tomorrow's No Concern open the set before You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll comes in. Snider runs across the stage and leads the crowd's response. Charlie Bellmore and Nick Petrino handle guitars, with Russell Pzütto on bass and Nicky Bellmore on drums. I Wanna Rock closes the show.
The encounter does not end in the festival archives. In July 2020, footage from Bloodstock appears on the DVD and Blu-ray For the Love of Metal Live, alongside performances from other locations. The release captures this touring phase: recent and older songs coexist, with the singer fronting a new band.
- Five solo songs share the stage with five Twisted Sister originals.
