“To follow the start of the Analogue Tour at the AVO Session, with the new album already in the set.”
Context
The European leg of the Analogue Tour reaches Basel on November 16, 2005, between Paris and Amsterdam. The Swiss date takes place at the Festsaal Messe Basel, as part of the AVO Session. The night's lineup has local band Mañana as the opener and presents a-ha while the new album is making its rounds.
Stay on These Roads opens the set preserved in the recording's description. The Weight of the Wind appears early, while Cosy Prisons, Holy Ground and Analogue tie the program to the recent album. Per Lindvall plays drums, Sven Lindvall takes the bass and Christer Karlsson completes the keyboards alongside Harket, Waaktaar-Savoy and Furuholmen.
Dark Is the Night for All closes the fifteen-song sequence, after Summer Moved On. The tour continues through other European cities and reaches Viña del Mar the following year. The Swiss concert remains a documented stop from the start of this cycle, with the new album already part of a selection from different phases.
