The Killers formed in Las Vegas in 2001, when singer Brandon Flowers met guitarist Dave Keuning. The band rose to prominence with Hot Fuss, from 2004, which featured “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me”, and followed with Sam’s Town and Day & Age. After a break from working as a group, it returned with Imploding the Mirage in 2020 and released Pressure Machine the following year.
