Context
Four years after his last visit to São Paulo, Paul McCartney finds a new home and a rainy night. On November 25, 2014, Allianz Parque hosts its first show. Out There arrives with NEW still recent and a band that has backed him for more than a decade.
Eight Days a Week opens the way for Save Us, bringing the Beatles close to Paul's present. On stage, Rusty Anderson, Brian Ray, Paul Wickens and Abe Laboriel Jr. carry this crossing. Blackbird and Here Today get a raised platform; Something brings out the ukulele for the tribute to George Harrison.
The stay continues at the same stadium the following night, and Out There runs into 2015. Multishow's TV recording preserves part of the first performance, with cuts set by the production. This selection reaches Hey Jude after the fireworks of Live and Let Die: a snapshot of the night that opens another chapter for concerts in the city.
- Blackbird and Here Today take Paul onto a raised platform in the stadium.
