Context
Two hundred and fifty people welcome Depeche Mode to the Rainbow Club on March 30, 1982. The scale is small, and the band still has only Speak & Spell out. Alan Wilder is already on stage in this first run of shows after Vince Clarke's departure.
Dave Gahan takes the vocals, while Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Wilder split synthesizers and backing vocals. The surviving selection places See You beside two singles from the first album: New Life and Just Can't Get Enough. These are three songs from a longer performance, filmed by RTL.
The Luxembourg stop also leaves a mark off the stage: Oberkorn gives its name to the instrumental released on the B-side of The Meaning of Love. Four decades later, in May 2022, RTL brings back the three complete songs in tribute to Fletcher. The archive returns a lineup still at the start of its shared history.

RTL brings back the three complete songs in May 2022, in tribute to Andy Fletcher.
