Context
In 1995, Morphine's rock does without the guitar and finds room on French television. The trio is in the Yes era, its third album, after Good and Cure for Pain. The performance gathers these three stages in six songs, without limiting itself to that year's record.
Mark Sandman takes vocals and two-string bass, Dana Colley plays saxophone and Billy Conway sits at the drums. You Speak My Language opens the run; Honey White comes next. All Wrong separates that opening from Whisper and Radar, before The Only One closes the program.
After this phase, Like Swimming arrives in 1997 and extends the discography the trio builds without adopting rock's conventional lineup. The TV recording preserves a snapshot from before that step: three musicians, six songs and the first albums still close to one another in the set.
