Morphine

Morphine formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1989, with Mark Sandman, Dana Colley and Jerome Deupree. The band drew attention with Good, released in 1992, and built its audience with Cure for Pain, from 1993, and Yes, from 1995. After Like Swimming and The Night, Sandman died during a show in Italy in 1999. The group ended its activities, and The Night came out posthumously in 2000.
