Context
On November 24, 1996, Ferro's stadium hosts the second day of Rock & Pop Alternativo. Marilyn Manson arrives with Antichrist Superstar just released and a renewed lineup: Zim Zum takes the guitar spot that used to be Daisy Berkowitz's. The Argentine stop is part of the first leg of Dead to the World.
Angel With the Scabbed Wings opens a run of twelve songs. Get Your Gunn, Dogma and Lunchbox keep the link to the first album, while Tourniquet and The Beautiful People put the new work at the center of the stage. Sweet Dreams bridges those phases; The Reflecting God and 1996 close the show.
The tour moves on to Europe and runs through 1997, widening the band's exposure and facing religious protests in the United States. The Buenos Aires stop remains documented by a television broadcast, preserved on VHS copies. It is a slice of the start of that cycle, before controversy followed its worldwide expansion.
