Context
The Alive/Worldwide Tour put Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss back on stage together, with makeup and a set centered on the group's first era. In July 1996, the reunion reached Madison Square Garden, in the city where the band began its journey.
In this upload, Deuce opens the musical sequence, followed by Calling Dr. Love and Cold Gin. Shock Me comes before Ace's solo, while Gene's block leads to God of Thunder and Peter's drum passage. The close gathers Black Diamond, Detroit Rock City and Rock and Roll All Nite.
The show lets viewers follow the reunion through the musical roles of the four original members. The video's description documents the chapters of this edit, whose sequence is shorter than the full set cataloged for the night. The entry keeps the points actually identified in the upload, without adding the missing songs.
- God of Thunder includes Peter Criss's solo
