Context
After the 1996 reunion, the original lineup presented new material on Psycho Circus. The album's tour began at Dodger Stadium, in Los Angeles, on Halloween night 1998. Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss split the set here between recent material and songs from the 1970s.
The title track opens the performance, and other songs from the album appear along the way: Into the Void comes before Ace's solo, while Within surfaces after Love Gun. Nothin’ to Lose and She widen the selection from the first album. Beth and Black Diamond are part of the close, before Rock and Roll All Nite.
The recording shows how the band reshaped its reunion set to take in Psycho Circus. The four members' solos act as dividers between the night's blocks, documented in the upload's chapters. The performance also made the selection of concerts on Kissology Volume Three, bringing the new album close to the group's live history.
