Tour albumDial Hard1994 · Dial Hard TourThe second album gives the tour its name and marks Gotthard's first arrival at the top of the Swiss chart.“To see Gotthard in the international expansion of Dial Hard, their first number-one album in Switzerland.”
Context
By 1994, the Swiss border no longer limits Gotthard's steps. Two years after their first album, the group reaches Germany with Dial Hard, a record that had hit number one at home. Stuttgart belongs to this moment of expansion beyond home.
Steve Lee takes the microphone, while Leo Leoni shares the guitars with Igor Gianola, added to the road lineup in 1993. Marc Lynn holds the bass and Hena Habegger sits at the drums. Five musicians bring the second album's era to the stage, still at the start of the band's international path.
The story continues with G. in 1996 and the acoustic D-Frosted in 1997. The Stuttgart stop stays tied to the earlier chapter: the circulation of Dial Hard and the work of a lineup widening its territory before the changes in sound of the following years.
