Context
In June 2005, Alter Bridge is still building its debut set. One Day Remains is the only studio album available. The Swiss stop comes at the first edition of Greenfield Festival, after dates at Graspop and AREA 4, during that summer's European run.
On the 26th, the quartet plays Flugplatz Interlaken, in Matten bei Interlaken. The sequence starts with One Day Remains and moves through Watch Your Words, Find the Real and The End Is Here. The guitar solo includes the riff of Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad; Highway Star brings Deep Purple into the set.
Open Your Eyes closes the selection preserved in the broadcast of about 44 minutes. Blackbird, the band's second album, only arrives in 2007. The recording therefore comes before that expansion of the catalog: a performance carried by the first album, a cover and room set aside for the guitar.
