Context
On October 7, 2005, SOMA hosts the first show of the Cities of Evil Tour. Avenged Sevenfold is in the City of Evil era, the album that takes the band beyond the metalcore of its early work. San Diego is close to the group's California roots, but the tour goes on across the continent.
The Rev plays drums alongside M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ. This edit starts with M.I.A. and interleaves City of Evil with Eternal Rest, Chapter Four and Unholy Confessions. The TV sequence reorganizes the night; it does not simply reproduce the original stage order.
The show airs on MTV2 with the songs out of order and without the guitar solo. Burn It Down is also used on a single. The uploaded recording keeps seven songs and documents the start of a tour, rather than offering the show's full sequence.
