Context
On February 4, 2024, Zeca Pagodinho's birthday takes on stadium scale. At Engenhão, the samba singer turns 65 and celebrates four decades of career with a recording surrounded by partners. The party gathers generations of samba, rap and pop on the same Rio stage.
Paulão 7 Cordas leads the band, with acoustic guitars, cavaquinho, percussion, horns and backing vocals. Zeca welcomes Marcelo D2 on Minha Fé and Djonga on Ogum. Jorge Aragão shares Minta Meu Sonho; Alcione joins on Mutirão de Amor and Sufoco. IZA guests on Cadê Meu Amor? and Seu Balancê.
Broadcast by Multishow and Globoplay, the performance becomes an audiovisual release in June, while the celebration continues on stages around the country. Ogum previews the project on Saint George's Day. At the close, Bagaço da Laranja brings his family onto the stage: the public celebration ends with those closest to him.
- Djonga joins Ogum; Alcione shares Mutirão de Amor and Sufoco.
- Bagaço da Laranja closes the celebration with his family on stage.
