Context
Portas reaches the stage with a visual concept by Marisa Monte, Claudio Torres and Batman Zavareze. In October 2022, Arena Jockey, in Rio de Janeiro, hosts the filming. The project brings the album's songs together with songs that had already run through different moments of Marisa's career.
Portas opens the musical edit, followed by Quanto Tempo and Maria de Verdade. Vento Sardo brings Jorge Drexler to the stage, while Calma and Déjà Vu keep the link to the recent album. Doce Vampiro and Já Sei Namorar widen the path between her own compositions and new readings. Dadi, Davi Moraes, Pupillo and Pretinho da Serrinha are part of the band.
Claudio Torres directs the film, edited by Vicente Kubrusly and Isadora Boschiroli. The audiovisual edit selects a program that does not fully replicate the tour's setlists. It is in this edit that Portas takes its shape as a film, beyond the experience of the tour.
