Xande de Pilares

A native of Rio, Xande de Pilares grew up in samba circles and learned guitar and cavaquinho early on. In 1992, he founded Grupo Revelação, in which he sang and played for more than two decades; records like Ao Vivo no Olimpo and Velocidade da Luz established the group.
