Context
Two years without playing São Paulo give Angra's return to the Olympia, on November 16, 1998, another dimension. Fireworks reaches the stage with a production that includes pyrotechnics and a grand piano. The idea brings metal's weight close to Queen's theatrical ambition.
Wings of Reality opens the show, followed by Lisbon. Andre Matos splits his work between voice and piano, while Kiko Loureiro and Rafael Bittencourt handle the guitars. Luis Mariutti and Ricardo Confessori get their solo spots. Carolina IV splits into two parts; Carry On and Fireworks appear in the encore.
The road continues through Japan and Europe, and the tour runs through 1999. Fireworks remains Angra's last studio album with Matos and Mariutti. The Olympia footage keeps this meeting between new material, songs from the first albums and a lineup that comes apart in 2000.
- Carolina IV splits into two parts, with an Andre Matos piano solo before it resumes.
